Ways to Work Together

How I Hold Space

A blend of modern somatic regulation and ancestral Mexican medicine, designed to ground your nervous system and support your body’s natural wisdom.

Close-Up Dandelions

1

Perfect For:

Those experiencing burnout, high anxiety, heavy life transitions, or feeling disconnected from their body.

The Medicine:

Conscious, somatic breathwork is a powerful gateway to the subconscious. By shifting our breathing patterns, we gently bypass the thinking mind to access, process, and release trapped stress and stored emotional trauma, returning your nervous system to a state of safety.

2

Perfect For:

Anyone seeking relief from physical aches, chronic stress, or nervous system exhaustion, as well as pregnant and postpartum bodies.

The Medicine:

The Rebozo is a traditional Mexican woven shawl. Through Manteada (gentle fabric rocking and sifting), I use the cloth to cradle and rock your body. This takes the pressure off your joints and muscles, mimicking a deep sense of womb-like safety to soothe the nervous system and offer profound relaxation for all bodies.

3

Perfect For:

Postpartum mothers ending their fourth trimester, or individuals navigating major structural life pivots like grief, a career change, or a spiritual shift.

The Medicine:

A sacred energetic and physical sealing ritual. Using the Rebozo, your body is gently bound from head to toe in specific segments to physically bring the hips back together while energetically closing an old chapter and gathering your spirit back to your center.

Every body is unique, and cada cuerpo es diferente. We will always move al ritmo exacto that your nervous system requires.

Cultura, Comunidad, and Bilingual Care.

Navigating modern healthcare systems can feel isolating and culturally disconnected. I provide fully bilingual (English/Spanish) care to ensure our families feel completely seen, heard, and respected. Together, we use these traditional practices to honor our heritage, release generational stress, and reclaim our ancestral right to be fiercely nurtured and rested.

La Comunidad: Healing for Everyone

I believe that ancestral healing and somatic support are human rights, not luxuries. Through La Comunidad, I offer dedicated pro bono postpartum doula support specifically for BIPOC, low-income, and underserved families in our community.

Because healing is a cycle that connects us all, this program provides 10 hours of hands-on, heart-centered care to one family each quarter. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or would like to nominate a family in need, I invite you to learn more about how we can make these sacred practices accessible to everyone.

Mitzi Kincade - Postpartum Doula and Breathwork Facilitator

Hello!

I’m Mitzi, the owner and founder of Soulfulness Breath.

I’m a first-generation Mexican American and a mother to two boys who constantly remind me how much growth and healing can exist alongside the chaos of everyday life. My own path hasn’t been linear; as a recovering people-pleaser, an abuse survivor, and someone who navigates chronic pain and mental health challenges, I’ve spent a lot of time learning how to care for myself while caring for others. He aprendido mucho sobre cómo cuidarme mientras cuido a los demás.

Soulfulness Breath was born from my own journey and a deep desire to support others through theirs. I know how isolating life can feel during major transitions—whether you are navigating the fourth trimester, recovering from reproductive surgery, or healing from loss. I created this space as a reminder that you are not alone and that support exists. No estás sola, y el apoyo sí existe.

I believe each of us carries the capacity to begin our own healing. The simple act of showing up for yourself—even when it feels hard—is the first step toward reconnecting with your own strength, resilience, and energy.

As a holistic doula and somatic breathwork facilitator, my role isn’t to fix or change you. Instead, I hold space. I guide. I support. Yo sostengo el espacio, yo te guío, yo te apoyo. I am here to offer a safe, compassionate, and fully bilingual (English/Spanish) environment where you can feel seen, validated, and supported as you reconnect with your body and your healing rhythm. Estoy aquí para ofrecerte un ambiente seguro, compasivo y completamente bilingüe, donde puedas sentirte vista, validada y apoyada mientras te reconectas con tu cuerpo y tu propio ritmo de sanación.

What are clients saying?

Rubi L. - CO

"I had a wonderful experience with Mitzi as my postpartum doula. She came to care for my baby and provided so much support during a very important time for me as a first time mom. She is friendly, attentive, and truly caring. The rebozo therapy and the cupping therapy she applied on my back also helped me a lot with relaxation and recovery. Her presence made the postpartum period much easier and more comforting. I'm very grateful for her help and highly recommend her to any new mom looking for support."
