Let's Catch Up - Breathwork Updates & Happenings

A lot has happened since my last post (was that really back in February?). Let me update you!

  1. Classes at The Karma House and Rishi's Community Yoga have been going great. I truly appreciate the tranquility these places offer -- genuine healing vibes. Classes were temporarily halted while I recovered from surgery.

  2. I reached a new milestone -- I facilitated my first corporate breathwork session! It was incredibly rewarding to lead this class and to see a corporate company investing in their employees' wellbeing. It takes real courage, and I admire everyone who was open to sharing this level of vulnerability with their colleagues.

  3. I had my hip surgery! This was the major one. Fortunately, everything went well, and I'm now 4 weeks post-op. I'm still using crutches, and my parents came to help me for a month. They were particularly helpful with the kids since I can't drive or go upstairs. However, I'm also glad they've returned home. The lack of privacy and my inability to do things for myself really affected my mental and emotional health.

  4. My products are now available at a second store! Visit Wanna b Witchy in Centennial, CO. This metaphysical collective consists entirely of women-owned local businesses. The grand opening was crowded and fantastic.

  5. I've been busy organizing my first women's wellness retreat this summer. More details will be available if you're interested in joining. We have an amazing lineup of experiences and workshops designed to unite mind, body, and soul. The networking involved has been eye-opening for me. Sponsors are gradually coming on board (I dislike asking for money).

  6. We also celebrated three birthdays in my household! My son (how is he already 9?), my boyfriend, and mine. Aries are definitely in abundance here.

I'm sure more has happened, but much of my energy has been focused on physical healing and allowing myself to slow down. My active nature has found this downtime challenging. I've had to relinquish control over many things like the appearance of my home (hello OCD), daily activities, and ensuring I had someone to assist me with basic tasks like dressing and showering. There are many lessons learned that my boyfriend and I will need to consider for future surgeries.

What's coming up?

  1. Classes at The Karma House and Rishi's Community Yoga will resume on a bi-weekly schedule starting April 25th. Check the EVENTS page for more details.

  2. Stay tuned for a new class and location coming this May!

  3. Keep an eye out for announcements and sign-ups for the women's wellness retreat this summer!

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the upcoming offerings. I'm excited to return to my usual offerings and schedule.

Much love - Mitzi
